Yes. Either SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking or SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Sheet must be implemented.

No additional license is needed. Team Schedule is built on SAP Business Technology Platform and hosted on our BTP tenant. It integrates directly with your SAP SuccessFactors instance. You do not need a separate BTP license to use Team Schedule.

- Team Schedule does not use third-party databases and treats SAP SuccessFactors as the single source of truth. Security is managed through multiple enterprise-grade mechanisms:

- All communication—between Team Schedule services, SAP BTP Foundation, and SuccessFactors—is encrypted via TLS 1.3. (TLS 1.2 is supported for older agents; TLS 1.1 is not supported.)

- Security-related events are logged using SAP BTP Foundation’s Audit Log service.

- No credentials are stored within Team Schedule. Long-living OAuth tokens are managed securely by SuccessFactors OAuth2 Authorization Server and SAP BTP Foundation.

- Multiple data loss and leak prevention mechanisms are in place.

There is no hard limit on the number of employees that can be scheduled. Typically, companies manage teams of 5 to 50 employees within the app. We recommend organizing your structure into smaller teams to better meet operational needs.

Yes. Matrix-style management is possible by configuring special positions or permissions that allow specific users to edit and manage schedules.

Permissions are managed using SAP SuccessFactors Role-Based Permissions (RBP). You can configure different user roles and groups to match your organizational requirements.

Yes. Team Schedule supports both planning and actual time recording. For more advanced time tracking needs, we recommend using SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking in combination with Team Schedule.
